McLaren wins delay of surprising penalty

NEW YORK - Devil Rays bench coach John McLaren was given a harsher-than-expected three-game suspension Wednesday for last week's altercation with umpire Ed Montague , but the punishment was postponed after Major League Baseball agreed to hear McLaren's version of the events today.
